DAY 2

WAT ARUN

After soaking up the serenity of Wat Pho, we'll hop on a local ferry across the majestic Chao Phraya River, offering stunning views of Bangkok's vibrant skyline. Prepare to be captivated by Wat Arun, also known as the Temple of Dawn, as we disembark. This architectural masterpiece is instantly recognizable for its central prang (tower) – a colossal, elongated structure reaching 80 meters high. Unlike most Thai pagodas, the prang is decorated with colorful porcelain shards, catching the sunlight like a kaleidoscope. Climb the (slightly steep!) steps to the base of the prang for panoramic views of the river and the city beyond. Finish the tour by being dropped off back at your hotel.

DAY 3

WAT PHO

After the Grand Palace, continue to Wat Pho, also known as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha. Prepare to be awestruck by the sheer size of the reclining Buddha statue – a whopping 46 meters long and 15 meters high! It's completely covered in gold leaf. Take a moment to appreciate the peaceful expression on the Buddha's face and the reverence of worshippers lighting incense. Don't miss the chance to marvel at the four enormous guardian giants guarding the entrance to the temple's inner sanctum. You might even be tempted to try your foot at a traditional Thai massage offered within the temple grounds – Wat Pho is renowned as the birthplace of this ancient therapeutic practice.
