CLIMB THE THREE HILLS AND DISCOVER THIS HISTORICAL PARK

Built on three high hills of nearly 100 meters, this historic park overlooking Petchaburi is visible from afar. On one of the hills, the summer palace built around 1860 by King Rama IV who loved this region. Looking at its interior gives a pretty good idea of the lifestyle of the members of the royal family at that time. The second hill is dominated by a large chedi called Phra That Chom Phet. The eastern summit is home to the Wat Phra Kaeo, a royal temple built on the model of the homonymous temple in Bangkok. You can visit this site, which the locals call prosaically Khao Wang (“The Mountain with the Palace”) and which is a section of the Thai National Museum.
