Apsara Tours promotes tourism compatible with sustainable development:

Apsara is careful to properly compensate its staff giving them the means to have a respectful attitude towards sustainability. Apsara Tours is always careful to limit the ecological footprint of its activities.

Security

Apsara Tours is committed to protect the travelers who entrust their lives. Only modern and safe means of transportation are used. Drivers are skilled, cautious and courteous and are regularly checked and tested. No temerity, the one who breaks the rules is banned! Guides are educated to permanently take care of the traveler and have always their safety in mind. Travelling with an organization that really thinks about the security of the guests enables them to travel with a peaceful mind. Due to our commitment to our clients concerning security, Apsara Tours will never organizes trips it doesn’t know the characteristics of and only no risk activities are proposed. When a client asks an activity with a certain degree of risk he is advised about it in order to be able to decide if he accepts it. However, Apsara Tour has taken out an insurance to cover the risks arising from its own activity and responsibility. Additionally, it strongly encourages customers to take out a travel insurance covering their personal risks.

Charity

Sustainability is not only linked to the way we manage the tours of our guests. Our commitment to our guests is also to give back to the local communities. Accompanying our guests around Thailand gives us the opportunity to come across a lot of interesting charitable projects all around the country. They may cover schools in the fields, small medical facilities, minority tribal villages having specific needs, etc. But they are not limited to human activity and needs, they cover wildlife preservation and the protection of endangered species too. For instance helping to take care and cure elephants, such important active partners of men in the history of Thailand and truly majestic animals, but nowadays put aside by the technological evolution. We are determined that our impact on the world not just come from generating demand for responsible tourism benefiting destinations and local people, but also from direct donations to related charities.
